Soaking agent with bactericide
Physical & Chemical Data:
Soaking agent and bactericide, free of APEO or PCP.
Appearance:Colorless or yellowish liquid
1.DOWELLAN BAH is a soaking auxiliary with good wetting and natural fat emulsifying properties and efficiently dissolves dirt, soil & emulsifies grease.
2.DOWELLAN BAH is stable to hard water and compatible with DOWELLZYM range of soaking enzymes. It is suggested to use DOWELLAN BAH at pH between 6 and 13.
DOWELLAN BAH is recommended for use in many processes such as soaking, enzyme un-hairing and liming, to accelerate water absorption and improve penetration of chemicals, and protect raw hides and skins from bacterial damage. It shortens the time of soaking process and enables the raw hides and skins to absorb water more evenly. DOWELLAN BAH enables liming chemicals to penetrate rapidly and evenly; and it helps to dissolve dirt, emulsify grease thoroughly to ensure good and uniform liming effect.
Application examples (based on the weight of wet-salted hides and skins):
1.The dosage of DOWELLAN BAH depends on the temperature, time and condition of raw hides and skins.
2.Soaking : rapid soaking (30℃-32℃ , 4-6hrs) 0.40%-0.50%
normal soaking (20-25℃ , 1-2days ) 0.15%-0.30%
Using DOWELLAN BAH with the help of bactericides of DOWELLIT (0.10-0.15%) gets good preserving effect.
3.Enzyme pasting: 3－6g/L.
4.Liming: 0.1%－0.2% DOWELLAN SPH improve the penetration of liming auxiliaries and helps to loosen hair roots.
120L plastic drum
1 year storage in sealed original package at 5-35℃. Avoid long-time exposure in the sunlight or freezing environment. Drum should be tightly resealed each time after material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they have been opened. Slight sedimentation may occurs when the ambient temperature is below 5℃, but it has no influence on properties and performance of the product. Direct contact with this product may irritate skin and mucous membrane. It is suggested to wear gloves and goggles to avoid direct contact with skin and eyes.
